t-mac
The t-mac device is the first of its calibre to be designed and manufactured in
the UK. It is a leading intelligent system for remote, Internet monitor and control
of assets including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R),
plant and machinery, fire and security systems as well as consumables such as water,
air, gas and electricity. The system's innovation lies in its web page, enabling
the user to conveniently access live status of their assets via
the Internet and view all asset data in one place.
Control parameters can be set up through the web page too, and conducted
via a single interface.
Through this web page facility, the t-mac system works by uploading data collected
via either GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), Ethernet or telephone line sending
information, at regular intervals to a central server from which users can gain
access to and view asset activity in real-time. Users can log-on to the t-mac web
page from any Internet-enabled PC.
Data collected is valuable to the user for the effective remote management and maintenance
of each asset, outlet, building or entire site. By knowing the status and efficiency
(of buildings for example) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, t-mac can open up a variety
of opportunities for identifying asset conditions, activity costs, associated wastages
and energy/asset inefficiency.
t-mac is designed to suit any industry's asset monitor and control requirements.
It seamlessly integrates with many different market sectors, including buildings/facilities
management, manufacturing, plant, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, brewing, schools
and colleges, hotels and restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centres to name
but a few.
t-fob
t-fob Tags are simple devices which enable Real Time monitoring and control across
a variety of applications including access control, personnel and vehicle delivery
monitoring, asset and location monitoring.
t-fob Tags can fulfil a number of security and authentication needs, packaged in
various formats:
· Key ring with integral alert button function.
· Credit card device as ID badge
· Larger format for use on computers, vehicles or other larger
appliances
· Covert devices where discrete monitoring is required
The t-fobs are powered by active RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), which, unlike
standard RFID processes do not require human interaction (i.e. close proximity to
reader etc), once in range, they are automatically logged with data sent from the
tags to the t-fob receiver and subsequently the t-mac system. They are light, versatile
and can be applied to most industrial applications where on-site identification
is required.
Automating time and attendance reporting for any size of business has never been
easier or more affordable.
Having identified and logged a person, vehicle or other transportable assets t-fob
tags can be used to facilitate the accurate collection of data for Payroll and service
level agreements (SLA's) for example.
The t-fob transmits unique identification data held by the tag direct to the t-mac
system via the t-fob receiver. Personnel hours, overtime and off-time pay could
then be automatically calculated and downloaded at the touch of a button, with live
data reviews displayed in graphical format on the t-mac web page and/or downloaded
into Excel spreadsheet for analysis and billing.
Tamper protection is integrated into the device ensuring the system cannot be' reverse
engineered'
WiST
t-mac can be supported by WiST technology. Imagine being able to wirelessly monitor
and control lights, security alarms, motion sensors, thermostats and smoke detectors,
or even placing light controls where you want them - as opposed to where the builder
fits them!
WiST can be attached to off-the-shelf sensors and other devices. Not least, you'll
benefit from the added feature of Internet remote monitor and control, when WiST
communicates with t-mac.
